MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK!!!

Yessir!!! We did it. Yes We Can and YES WE DID. Are you dancing right now? Why the hell not. I can't stop doing the cabbage patch, footworkin' and screaming for no reason at all.

Oh and tune in tomorrow for all the stuff I've been meaning to say about these here presidential politics.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of history. It was emotional, awesome, exhausting, and inspirational. I will remember last night for the rest of my life!

LOL @ the cabbabe patch!!!

I'm with you though. I had to work so didn't come to the rally but just driving down LSD I could feel change in the air at 10:01 when it was official and Barack Obama was announced as the 44th President of the United States!

Hallelujah... Barack!

It's an amazing feeling. I keep tearing up as I look at photos from last night, and just thinking about it.

We walked down to the rally around the time that CNN called the election and the crowd of supporters went bananas! It was just a great sight and to be in the midst of it all. *sigh*

Anyone trying to go to DC for the inauguration? I so want to be there :-)

I'm SO going to the inauguration! And while I'm not doing any footworking or cabbage pactching (LOL), I do have these random out bursts of "OH MY GOD!!!!" Just the thought of it, in this year that the NAACP celebrates 100 years...man...I can't wait to tell my children and grandchildren, "You can be whatever you want to be, even the president!" That statement holds so much more value now.
